Hi all,

Had a lifetime passion owning and riding motorcycles which has included all things mechanically related which I've always enjoyed but sadly circumstances has curtailed this. With the sale of my Triumph I decided to use the funds to get a old British Milling machine and Lathe. I've previously had both but in the small Chinese bracket.

First was an AEW Viceroy vertical mill which has been dismantled to clean & tidy up. I will be installing a DRO and it will need setting up with a VFD as it is currently a 3 phase motor.

Second was again a Viceroy but a lathe, a TDS1/2. This too will be stripped and checked and like the mill probably need a VFD as it too is 3 phase.

I am still a novice at both disiclines but have found much useful information on the forum already but will likely be seeking some knowledge with the electrics of both machines.

Thanks
