92 forum posts 12 photos | Just acquired a D10 kit with reversing, pump and pipework kits to go with it from a well-known auction site. These must have been gathering dust in someone's attic for a while as they are obviously pretty ancient - the paperwork is yellowed with age - but all complete and still sealed in the plastic covering. |

Best of luck, I'm jealous of your find. |

2308 forum posts 33 photos | I have one of these with the reversing gear, there is a small book on the build and I think I have that and the original drawings. There is a difference, depending on age, early one had 6 cylinder cover bolts, later ones had only 5. The book was available from stuart models and covers all you will need to build the model. Title, building a verticle steam engine. Published by Tee publishing. The front cover shows a drawing of the cylinder with 5 bolts and a picture of the engine with 6 ! IF being built with reversing gear you can disgard the eccentric straps included in the main kit. Good luck Noel Edited By noel shelley on 06/09/2021 22:00:10 |

The 6 stud one also has 4 studs in the lower cover/standard which is easier than trying to get 5 in and have room for the spanner |
