I bought this cutter thinking it would fit my Dedlock 150 chuck but I got something wrong. Although the thread is correct, it's clearly not the right arbor, can anyone put me right?Clarkson cutter

Hi Terry, Here is a drawing of the arbor you need, I think the arbor you have is an updated one but this one is easy to make -- more photo's in my albums; John

Terry,

I also had a few of these in a job lot I bought that didn't fit my int30 dedlock, they come in different size boss/registers like slitting discs come in 1" and 1 1/4" bores etc.

I guess that's a project for a rainy day, thanks John for the drwg, I'll find a suitable ISO30 M12 donor and machine the end for 3/4-12 BSF on a 19.5mm locating spigot.

Update: I've discovered the cutter fits the Clarkson Dedlock Type B arbor not the Dedlock 150. Unobtainium I'm sure, especially in ISO30 format.

A cheap drill chuck arbor was the suitable candidate for this Dedlock Type B-ISO30 project. Presumably then, the Dedlock Type A has the 1/2"BSW as shown in John's drawing above.dedlock type b on iso30 m12.jpg
