229 forum posts 63 photos | Just been scammed on Ebay. I had a site transformer for sale starting bids at £20 plus offers. Cash on collection. Guy offers £20 thought nah let the auction roll. Bids £30 thought ok. Unbeknown to me Ebay haven't stopped the auction running. Guy turns up unannounced I'm out gives wife £30 then says sorry its £20 look. He's just bid on the still running auction! So wife see's £20 bid on item. Be warned! Cheers Michael

Ebay scam ?? Did you accept his offer of £30 officially on ebay as normally once you do, ebay automatically ends the listing. However, system errors can happen.
Hi br Well It it says sold for £30! I'm sure in the small print it ill be my fault. It's the way the guy has done it . He gave my wife £30 he knew what the price was . Cheers Michael |
