| Was officially at Mondays Elvington speed attempts.
A photo was given to me showing my addiction to smoking took many years to give it up.
My speed family brought me a new speed machine for my duties.
Not that many there due to restrictions one regular high speed lad from Ireland had to stay at home.
He is I think involved with Gut Martins UK 300mph attempt.
A few pictures first my bad smoking habit.

If you have any images dressed as he was please do NOT publish themI The world can only take so much I'm afraid.
Take care and have fun!!!

| You know, in the pic where you have the red shirt on, it looks like a Guzzi or Honda CX500 V twin might fit under the seat......
Or maybe a rocket nozzle......
In case you were thinking of taking up that sort of smoking again!
Just joking. Glad you had a good day.

| Does look like a stiffener on the scooter JA.
Jeff a good suggestion as you all know my nickname thoughts come to mind of fitting a De-Laval Nozzle at a certain body part for pure thrust.
As you may gather I'm enjoying life to the full despite restrictions pity I could not post the video of me on the electric speed machine the fun I had on it..
Next outing on it a racing number plate should be on it courtesy of the fastest UK lady.
Her new machine will be making its debut at next speed meeting in April 270mph is the goal streamlining has been improved a University was involved a 3d image was scanned and various pressure differences identified.
Am so surprised at all the help and kindness from all walks of life that I have received.
I don't want to end up as another Victor Meldrew as I know a few and they are their own worst enemy.

Current World record is just over 107mph for a chariot like yours - You need something flat to fit under the seat - Porsche perhaps?

I know this is a model engineering Forum and hope am not offending anyone by posting my full size interests.
Before being involved with motorcycle speed attempts I was model engineering and made a Westbury horizontal mill engine at school.
Then played about making a gauge 1 steam engine that never was finished.
Motorcycles interests then took hold and was interested in resurrecting a Rudge basket case for vintage sprinting but frame was rotten and beyond my limited knowledge to repair.
The blown Triumphs for sprinting eventually were built and made my own frames that had to be bronze welded outside as had no workshop apart from a few square feet of shed space.
Workshop got updated and was a 6ft x 8ft still frame making outside.
When I called it a day with full size speed attempts started model engineering again.
Started on a traction engine but speed was my first love and seeing Bobs article on his 100 mph flash steam hydro that had me hooked.
Am a fisherman so I swallowed the bait after many enjoyable years developing my now record breaker had to retire.
It's now in the good hands of a past steam record breaker just hope he can go faster than me as engine has the power to do that.
Back to that earlier post of mine here is a report on it.
You don't always need a state of the art workshop and a mountain of money in those days to do well.
