Is there anywhere that supplies files that are either 0.25in or 6mm thick

Am about to file the expansion link and liiftng link slots in the radius rod

Whilst the slotting is no problem, i need a file of that thickness to get the ends 'square'

Or is there a better way i am not aware of?

Quick look at Arc Euro reveals these, but there are no doubt other suppliers available.

Grind up a triangular file so you have two safe edges either side of the active face maybe.

Had a look at Arc's files, does the length given include the tang or just reter to the file's cutting section?

Can't speak about Arc, but it is conventional to ignore the tang when measuring the length of a file.
