I am just completing the ME Beam Engine, and thought it would be an interesting project to make a Model that the Beam Engine could run.

The Only item I have found is the Ransome Class A Thrasher. I bought a set of 10 Plans from Sarik (who were excellent to deal with).

My question is have any of you made this model? if so what advice or information can you share with me.

Equally can anyone suggestother Models that the Beam engine could run. It seems a pity just to having it oprating on its own.

Very best wishes to all you Model Makers MalcolM Farrant (Roskrow)

Maybe your engine could drive a water pump, visibly pumping water from a "pit" in the base to a "surface" tank? Just a thought. Many full size beam engines were used to pump water.
