I ordered a few bits of metal, rivets, screws and some small castings from GLR Kennion's website at 11:45 or thereabouts, Saturday lunchtime.

A 6"x6"x30" box was delivered lunchtime today at 12:30, stuff inside safely packed as usual.

I make that about 73 hours, most of those at the weekend.

So I would like to give congratulations to Richard and the team at GLR Kennions for excellent service - although in my limited experience it is not out of the ordinary for items in stock.

I use GLR Kennions quite a bit and must say that their service is excellent, the same thing goes for Arc Eurotrade, I placed an order late last night and got a notification that it is being delivered tomorrow, long may both of these companies prosper!

Placed an order with Arc on Saturday when they were shut - it was delivered today (by DPD).

Now that is really excellent service,

Chris

I've got to say I've had similar experiences with both the above, especially Arc. Just when I've been losing faith with companies to actually deliver good service to the Customer Arc went out of the way to ensure I was completely happy.

Another couple I've had superb service from: Macc Models and M-Machine metals. No personal connection to any of these companies other than as a delighted customer.

Specifically in the ME supplier sphere, ARC, Chronos and Warco are the accolade winners for excellent service. More widely Bearing Boys in East Anglia and Precision Tecnology Screws. Just a satisfied customer.

In the current climate deliveries can be affected by the virus. We lost all our post for 10 days, no PO vans moving, nothing. Then we get a big wodge of mail all elastic banded together. Guess our local PO sort office was isolating.

So if things are late just chill it will come, unless it's Hermes, they can loose things at any time. smiley

A mention for Westfield Fasteners as well, easy to order (and pay!), arrived quickly. Lot of stainless steel cap head screws etc at very reasonable prices. No personal connection with them but highly recommended....

Regards

Derek
