3 forum posts | Hi all, Just a quick hello. Some online researching after a recent lathe purchase led me here. The lathe in question is a Swisten DLRN from somewhere around the 20’s- 30’s. Not a common lathe from what I understand but it’s in good order mechanically and in a few months I’ll hopefully get it looking well too! My background is in mechanical engineering and I enjoy messing around with anything old and mechanical. I love the satisfaction of bringing old, well engineered tools back to working condition and whether that’s a hammer or a lathe, the same buzz is there. I’m sure I’m not unique in that! Brian
