60 forum posts 19 photos | evening all quick question I have a three phase compressor that has been running off a 230v three phase inverter the motor was configured in delta, I’m lending it out to someone who has three phase on site, do I just swap the terminals to star configuration, i guess what I’m trying to ask is dual voltage motor if 415v then motor should be configured in star if 230v then should be configured in delta regards Rich |

2610 forum posts 312 photos | Hi Richard Best to use a starter with any motor, especially that size if running at 3 phase 415v, or better still leave it delta connected and send your inverter which hopefully has some fault and overload protection on the output. Emgee |
