Can anyone identify these part finished castings and ancillary parts? Small linisher? If it is a linisher I won't try to complete it so any suggestions for alternative uses?

We'll, looks like I'm replying to myself! 202 views from the model engineering community and nobody can identify these castings? I'm surprised to say the least, but it was worth a try.

The two brackets with set screws in + the angle piece bottom left look like parts from ETW's powered hacksaw machine.

Good soggestion Bill, I do realise it's a poor photo but thought any body who had made or seen the finished article would be able to recognise it. Possibly not.

Looks like part of a powered hacksaw?

Possibly a hacksaw, but the ETW one used a geared motor, not the gears shown here.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. The very low gearing and running straight into the cast iron certainly suggests something low geared.
