Hello,

Does anyone have an original Centec dividing head ?

If so, any chance of some nice "square on" photos of it from ech side, front . top and bottom.?

I'd like to make an accurate copy to go with my Centec 2B Mill.

Thanks.

Can't think why though, it should be called an indexing head

Do you still need any photos etc of the Centec indexer. I have one but it only has a 30 tooth plate which is not a lot of use. I intend to amke another with 48 divisions. The spindle also only has a dead centre with no provision for any other attachments

Nick / Dave

i have just been searching for info on the Centec dividing (indexing) head and see this thread. The link however doesn’t open - presumably now out of date.

Do you recall what the dividing head sold for?

Not much, they aren't very useful.

This one is what I have as well - only with less rust, MT1 centre they never have a makers name on them, but Jones & Shipman has been linked to them.
