258 forum posts 259 photos | I need to make some unions like the ones pictured below. They are for 1/8 copper pipe and I would like a neat join with minimal solder showing. I was thinking whether to use solder paste in a syringe rather than the rod which I am used too . |

![]() 334 forum posts 1 photos | Hi David, Make a solder ring to fit inside the fitting. Probably using 1.0mm wire Flux the joint. Heat the joint line, the alloy will melt and flow towards the heat. If using paste, put it inside the fitting and heat as above. If using paste, you will probably need twice the amount you think! A ring is the cheapest option. Regards Keith |
