8 forum posts	Hi I've just taken a step back into engineering, I bought a Harrison L5 lathe and I'm sure I will need some help from the hive mind of a forum. I haven't got my hands on lathes or mills since the early 80s so I'll be taking things easy for a while and hopefully find my feet again.

Brian Hi Brian my first prodject will be stripping the apron and tailstock down and giving them a good clean as the lathe has been sitting for years unprotected it doesn't seem to be pitted rust just surface rust and heavy dust.
