Digital magazine problems

HI, I've had the digital ME now for over a year but it seems to be giving problems with it freezing. I preferred the old version using Flash player but I understand that is being phased out soon. Will I still be able to view the archive when Flash player is no longer supported?

With the new magazine viewer I find it difficult to adjust the magnification and move about the page. Frequently it freezes and I have to delete the magazine and re-select it. Is there a tutorial anywhere on how to use it? I am using a Macbook pro.

John, for new issues I would suggest you use Pocketmags rather than the viewer on this site as I feel it is a better viewer.

Along a similar theme. With my digital subscription, I normally use pocket mags, this covers all the mags I have bought fine. But it does not include the back catalogue, I can only get these via the viewer on this site. That is ok on my laptop, but on my tablet (Samsung tab) using the the viewer only new magazines can be viewed. Anything say 8 years old I get a grey screen with a white box telling me to swipe to view, but no content. Any thoughts?

John, go to the Pocketmags site by clicking here. You will then need to register which is along the top black bar. Once registered click "My Library" which will now be showing along the same black bar, from there select "activate subscription" on the left of teh screen that comes up. You will need your Subscription number as that has to be entered.

Dave, Try Puffin browser as that usually works on an Android device and allows all issues to be viewed.
