Split lathe from cabinet

71 forum posts 45 photos | Hi have just bought a denford viceroy lathe. My problem is to transport it home I need to split the lathe from the cabinet. Looking in the cabinet I can see 4 large nuts each with a smaller nut underneath the big one which is a bit of a puzzle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards Art |

If it's an underdrive model you'll still have the belt to think of and if it's a 280VS or Synchro there will be some electrics to take care of too before the bed will come off. Interlock switches, lo-volt light etc. |
