16 forum posts 6 photos | Has the Chester machine tools forum been taken down? I have tried to access it without success, there was a conversion for a 16V mill that I read sometime ago which I would like to follow up John |

912 forum posts 40 photos | I think it must have been, I tried looking for it yesterday and the link is missing from their home page. Brian p.s. I just retrieved the forum address https://shop.chesterhobbystore.com/pages/forum from the Wayback Machine, but it returns an error 404, so it looks as if they have killed it. ![]() 96 forum posts 24 photos | Hi John, I contacted Chester Tools some time ago about the missing forum and was told that they no longer support it. I did contribute some mods regarding the Chester 16v mill to the forum so if I can be of any help then feel free to use the private message facility. My mods concerned moving the up & down handle from the vertical to horizontal and making a fine quill adjuster and fitting a motor to the longitude axis, I also fitted a cooling fan to the motor. Hope that this helps, regards Pat |
