Ok I’ve been clumsy, the micro burner torch dropped off the shelf, bounced off the vice and landed on the floor. Sadly the end of the torch hit the vice and the nozzle inside which is threaded sheared . The nozzle Which I thought was integral with the shroud isn’t! But I need to know what thread it is to make a new shaft.

I contacted proxxon who don’t sell the nuzzles separately due to security concerns(????). Now from measuring the thread on the bit snapped off I think itsM4 fine but not sure WHICH M4 fine and , surprise surprise Proxxon won’t tell me.

Anyone got any ideas? Currently I plan on taking it along to donny to see if I can get. tap to fit and the. buy it and the relevant die.

Surprised how unhelpful Proxxon were about this. The torch is otherwise very high grade and a delight to use, just a bit fragile.

Apart from the colour the Proxxon device appears visually the same as the Rokrow RK2050.

Rokrow spares may be easier to find (or maybe not... )
