Significance ?

3 forum posts 4 photos | Hi, I'm a new member and have just bought my first Myford 7 lathe. The serial number suggests it's a 1969 to 1970 model. I've just started to look at refurbishing it. I'm a press toolmaker by trade so I'm reasonably confident on rebuilding. It cuts true and sounds sweet. I'm keen not to spoil it and want to make it as original as possible. However, I've got a question before I go any further. The label / motif on the guard at the front is 45mm dia with a mainly white background. But all the labels available seem to have a mainly yellow background. Can somebody let me know the significance of this, if any.
Thanks |

1505 forum posts 56 photos | There may be no significance other than Myford buying a new batch of transfers! My 1965 ML7 has a transfer with a yellow background.
