Hi, thanks to helpful replies to my first post I have acquired an older Boxford Type C.

This has two opposing Alan-headed studs, one on either side, to adjust Tailstock alignment.

One of these is split acroos the AlanKey hole and can't be adjusted.

I'd like to make or buy a new one.

Does anyone know the thread? It is 0.25" diameter.

Pete

I had to replace mine too, something way back in my mind tells me they are 1/4 - 20 UNC but it was about 10 years ago so don't quote me on that. laugh
