Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone owns one? Its a old design to wj Hughes design; This scale has been overshadowed, everyone builds big now! but its right for me! dont fancy another hernia op after moving heavy stuff!, I have a wanted ad here and tt, but hard to find now, though one did come up on ebay, about two weeks ago but despite a generous offer the seller changed their minds possibly? or maybe not! I do not know. Thats the problem with ebay...The Fowler is so different as compared to the Burrell Showmans equivilent.

Does anyone have a set of W Highes drawings;? good price paid... or copies? Love to see a few pictures of anyones Fowler models.

thanks vic

Blackgates do his drawing for the "big Lion" which would be the nearest available and is what he talks about in his book. This is a general arrangement drawing but there are two suplements that show the crane and showman's fittingsThe model of Supreme in 1.5" scales not actually by him.

Vic have you looked at the old centennial issues that have some old articles from the time when 2" scale was considered big here and here
