Hi All

I recently purchased a book by Stan Bray called "Making Clocks"

On page 109 there is a picture of a rather Unusual clock.

Could any one tell me anything about it are there any plans available etc.

Thank you

Alan

Hi Alan,

I dropped Stan, who is in his nineties but still going strong, and email. This is what he has to add:

"I cannot now recall where I saw the clock and it is most unlikely that any plans are available for it. I am quite certain that basically it is a standard mantle clock mechanism on which the minute train has been omitted. A special base has been used to support the chapter ring and a hand special designed for appearance. In other words a very nice bit of personalisation which also means it is both attractive and easy to make."
