Hello from Northampton

Treated myself to a year's subscription to MEW.

I've had my Myford ML7 a few years now and have not used it nearly enough, I've also dabbled in electro plating . Now that I've retired I'm intending to get a lot busier with both and am considering buying a new milling machine. My main interest is restoring and running Italian motorcycles as well as moped racing.

Anyone on this forum associated with the Northampton Society of Model Engineers?

In the Peterborough Society, we have at least one member who is also a Northampton member,so you should be in good company.

I'm a member of Northampton (NSME). If you haven't already, head over to our website **LINK** drop an email to our secretary (email on website), and pop along.

We are a friendly bunch with all sorts of interests to do with engineering, not just rail/road locos. We meet on a Tuesday evening in the club house from about 7:30 onwards.

Simon Cook, you have answered the question that was in my mind, namely are the NSME just about model trains or a broader church. I will make a point of dropping by one Tuesday and will contact the club sec. in the meantime.
