I've just finished the mechanics of Heimann's regulator clock and am now thinking about the case. I would like to do something with full-length glass and so am looking for options for right-angular glazing bars, but I can't find anything.

Does anyone know of suppliers of long length (say 4' brass, aluminium or wood bars of minimal cross section please ?

I'm not sure I understand. Looking at pics via google these seem to be in timber long cases and if your skills are up to making the case then I'd guess you can router out some corner glazing post and use quadrant bead. Any joiners would router it for you if you can't...

Bit late spotting this one. I had to make 2 long clock cases in the glass works for the local time ball tower collection.
I used a 5/16 'bird mouth' hardwood moulding on the corners and 2mm picture glass for one.
The moulding could be made up from 3 x quadrants ?

3/8 x 3/8 brass angle, mitred and soldered for the other.

Thought about using the extruded aluminininium sections supplied for flight case manufacture? Might be classed as heresy but they do have a range of fittings.
