I've done a search on here for 'Gordon Smith' and 'Safety Valves' and some of the searches return the message "Posts moved to end of original thread. The only problem is that I don't know what the original thread was!

I'm trying to find calculations for using 2 safety valves instead of just one.

Of the two threads on Gordon Smith safety valves, one is the original thread that they were moved to and the other is where they were taken from.

The search on the home page searches the thread content as well and will give you more hits.

K.N.Harris advises that the internal diameters of 2 valves should be 0.71 X the diameter of a single valve.

That's good enough for me!
