320 forum posts 1 photos | I am presently updating my boiler performance prediction program and would very much like a copy of a particular paper, which is on science direct, run by Elsevier publishing. Are there any university lecturers, professors or students out there who might have free access to the following papers: Oliver, D.R. (1962). The effect of natural convection on viscous-flow heat transfer in which can be found at: https://doi.org/10.1016/0009-2509(62)80035-9 Similarly, Shome, B. & Jensen, M.K. (1995). Mixed convection laminar flow and heat transfer of liquids can be found at: https://doi.org/10.1016/0017-9310(94)00328-S Sorry to ask, but I would have to pay for these but they are probably free to universities. Thanks in advance, Martin |

1817 forum posts 2 photos | I just go along to my local University library and get a readers card. You can browse but can't take stuff home. Most University libraries are usually very helpful in this respect. Andrew. |

320 forum posts 1 photos | Thanks Andrew, I really need to sit down and study the papers in detail, as you will see it's pretty heavy stuff! So I am looking for someone to download them and e-mail me a copy if at all possible. Sadly, when I have approached my "local" university - (University of the Highlands and Islands) in the past, they seem to specialise in obfuscation on an industrial scale. Martin |
