Hi All. Just wondering if someone with a stack of back issues slightly larger than my pile has a copy of MEW July 2011 (Issue 178) please? If so, there's an article on page 48 on constructing an oiler for the Myford lathe. I'd be very grateful for a scanned copy (via email) if that's possible.

Thanks and best regards, John

Hi John,

We encourage members to avoid posting their email addresses on the open forum to prevent them getting spammed (I have some heavy duty spam protection for my mytimemedia address...)

Howard asked for a personal message (a 'pm' - use the 'message member' button under his post - any reply will appear as a flashing envelope on the right of the page).

I've cut and pasted your email and pm'd it to Howard and deleted it from your email.

Thanks

Neil

It was based, if I recall on components supplied by Arc who might have copies or other information sheets.

Thanks for that info. I'll follow that up with Arc. Cheers, John

Unfortunately, I can’t recall that issue - project as I don’t have a copy to hand. The only one I can recall is the lubrication system articles which you can see in this link. Once you are on the linked page, click on the ‘More’ tab where you will see downloadable pdfs to Tony Jeffree’s articles on this from 2010.

Ketan at ARC

Neil,

Thanks for forwarding John's message. Have now sent him what he requested, so he may now contact Ketan for parts.

Thanks for the link Ketan. I can see the attraction of removing oil guns from my life for good! Howard has kindly sent me the plans from MEW 178, so I'll check that out first. Regards, John
