469 forum posts 50 photos | I recently purchased a Black and Decker "Mouse" sander. Very useful tool. However, in the pack of shaped sanding sheets supplied, are two sheets that look as if they are made like a plastic pot scourer. One is white the other a dark red/brown colour. I assume that they are for some fine finishing; but there is nothing in the obstructions. Is that what they are, and how are they used please. Regards Maurice |

1504 forum posts 142 photos | Maurice I would use the white one as fine wire wool, the red one as a coarser abrasive. Bosch used to describe them as for light sanding, texturing, of wood, plastics and metal. Red probably OK for de-rusting. |

![]() 1009 forum posts 305 photos | As a woodturner we use something that is called Nyweb which is an abrasive each colour donates a different grit they are not limited to use on wood only. This is how I buy mine HERE |
