![]() 1129 forum posts 1 photos | Hi All, Have tried everywhere to find one of these tiny bulbs: The diameter of the screw part is 5.25mm; the length of the bottom metal part is 9mm from the rim to the bottom contact; runs off 2 AA cells. It is for the indicator lamp on an old torque wrench tool. Tried RS, FARNELL etc but no go, any thoughts please? Cheers, Martin |

2661 forum posts 294 photos | If really stuck for a solution then diagnostic set bulbs from the like of heine or welch allyn might be adaptable since their screw end is generally smaller than the bulb base.

![]() 520 forum posts 194 photos | Hi Martin, That bulb sounds like the old Christmas tree light string bulb ! Since you have the old bulb, why not just pop a LED into the old base. You might need a resistor to current limit for the LED. If I remember correctly, a Yellow LED is about 3 volts.
