1504 forum posts 142 photos | Mike I have never seen any instructions for the Little Giant grinder, but have an old article from Popular Mechanics (1949) which used the South Bend version as an example. I'll try and look it out. Meanwhile you can find the instructions for the Dumore series 14 toolpost grinder, which is a similar size, here - **LINK** |

13 forum posts | Thank you, Rex and Robbo. I have searched the net and cannot locate any info on the Little Giant. I'll download the Dumore info and take it from there. Initially I just need to check that it runs properly, and lubricate the necesary bits. I'll learn how to use it as I go along!

121 forum posts 3 photos | Sorry Mike, I have just checked and there are no instructions in the box. If you do get it going make sure you protect all of your lathe. By its nature it will fire grinding dust at all the vulnerable parts! |

13 forum posts | Thanks for looking Rex. I had a look at some YouTube vids and got the general idea of what to do. I intend to convert a sprung window blind to mount under the chuck and attach under the carriage to collect the dust rather than use corrugated rubber - I need to finish grind long tapered reamers for bagpipes and then mill them to a D bit shape so the grinder will be useful.
