Unfortunately, it looks as its the end of the road for the Minnie I bought? Needs a new boiler by the look of things?

I really should have got advice before buying but trusted the seller and took his word that it was all fine?

Just to say thanks for all the comments and help to those who have responded to my post.

regards, Terry

Did you ever find out exactly where the leak is coming from? Is it totally not fixable, not  even for non-public use?

Hi Terry,

Sorry to hear about your Minnie .But I wondered if it runs on air alright? If so, would you consider selling, as I am looking for a small traction engine just to run on air in the workshop?

If so, perhaps you could kindly email me at: itechnician2014 at gmail dot com.

Thanks. Mark

Read this to see how to create an album and put the pics into your posts

The worse that would probably happen is you won't be able to raise steam either due to too much escaping from the hole or water squirting out on your fire. May be worth loosening off the safety valve spring so it won't get too high a pressure and giving it a go.
