I've not seen the one in Vancouver but I've seen the steam clock in San Francisco which looks pretty similar...

...I think I must be going bonkers. I've looked and can't find any pictures now. Perhaps it was Vancouver after all embarrassed

I have been to Vancouver a few times. The clock is in Gas Town is on the corner of Water Street and I think Camble Street. It can get a little crowded around it during daytime, particularly on the hour as it plays its tune. The best is to go to the restaurant on the opposite corner, at night and enjoy a good meal and watch and listen. Information is on Wikipedia, it is a fairly recent addition but still interesting as the side panels are glass so you can see the innards.

There was a bit in ME a few years back, the clock made it to cover picture. Seem to think that the motor in it is a Stuart Turner motor.
