Can I have some help identifying these please? I realise its driving wheels only, looking at what is here I'm guessing its for a pacific of some sort, but any guesses which one? My grandad left them to me in a big pile of junk. This is all the components I know of. When I was a kid I remember him saying he had some Britannia castings hidden away but these don't strike me as those...

I would say they are definitely for the 3½" gauge Britannia by LBSC.

Many thanks. Now the question is, does that answer the question of which project to tackle next? laugh

I suppose the answer to that is " can you still get drawings and any other castings needed to complete?"

Someone on here is bound to know,

Well quite, I think having a couple of the many castings needed does not really a project make. However its nice to dream. I'm not averse to a project that will take me a few years, including sourcing components however.

I had previously thought that my first locomotive would be something smaller like an 0-6-0 or similar, however there is a lot to be said for making something larger, Britannia or otherwise.

I think Reeves, GLR Kennions and Station Road Steam all supply the drawings and castings. Sarik do the drawings as well, I believe.
