I am now working on the variows shafts.

I have read, I think carefully L C Mason's word on pages 52 and 53.. I am confused as yes a press fit for the 25T is mentioned, but it seems that it would be better if it were silver soldered on the boss. No problem with the 50T gear, as that is bolted on.

Can anyone please advise as to what is their best method of fitting the the 25T on the boss.

I am sorry to keep seeking help, but you have all helped me immensly so far. Thank you.

Best wishes to all

Malcolm Farrant

Have anoyther read, the 25T is also bolted on, the CSK fixings go through the 50T and the flange of the gear Ctr and thread into tapped holes in the 25T.

You can see the threaded holes on mine.

Jason, Thank you so much for the reply, and the photo. I have re-read the relevant pages, and now see what I should have done. So will, today make a new centre boss.
