Bit of a long shot but has anyone got any go to suppliers who will ship to or are based in Hamilton NZ? Specifically places that are open weekends or will sell online.

Working a 8 till 5 job has its downfalls, in that all the normal suppliers shut after that and, to top it off are not open on the weekend.

This is highly frustrating as I have a new mill I would like to trial but no actual metal stock to use with it.

Cheers

Hi Patrick, welcome to the forum. Try Aero Machinists and J P Marshall both in Te Rapa, tell

them your are a budding hobby engineer and ask for small offcuts from their stocks or

waste bin.

Hi Patrick, Here's a few to try:

Steel & Tube 40 Northway St Te Rapa.

Wakefield Metals. They do off cuts, no cutting cost

Easy Steel 220Ellis St Frankton

And I think you will find more than one general jobbing shop with a scrap box. It's a pity work has to get in the way of the important things.
