Nice job Mick. About halfway through making 6 BXA holders for my QCTP. Keep getting interrupted by some "yes darling" requests.

regards

Nice one Mick,

A brief write up for MEW would be nice and would get you your £35 back with interest

Thanks Neil,I'm not sure its right to profit from someone else's design and Harold has extensive instuctions on his website, but if anyone else is making a set and wants some help I am happy to oblige

Most people are pleased to see their designs kept alive through people revisiting them over the years. 'On the shoulders of giants'...

I'm sure Harold would be pleased and after all you would just be recounting your approach and any tweaks you made, not claiming it as your own design.

I am contacting Harold tomorrow will see what he says , I have made a few of his designs and been well pleased with the results, eg endmill sharpening jig/ dividing head/graduating tool for marking indicator dials and jigs for sharpening lathe tools etc on grinding head. If he is happy for me to write it up will give it a go,will probably need some advice is there some advice somewhere? I am grateful that there are people like Harold that are talented that can inspire and encourage people such as myself

Hi Mick,

You'll be fine. Write it up, your excellent work looks like the basis for a really interesting article.

I was encouraged to write for MEW by Mr. Alan Hearsum from Derbyshire, a model engineer and long time contributor to MEW and ME magazines.

You will enjoy the experience, its nice to see your work in print and it's also a great feeling when you get paid!!!
