3 forum posts | Hello everyone, Finally got around to registering and making my first post. Have been loitering in the wings for a while reading some of the posts and very informative they have been. I have had a zyco lathe for about 13 years that my farther gave me which I very recently traded up to a Seig C8 from Axminster tools along with the X2 based milling attachment. I am an ex Aldermaston apprentice now working at Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil. I plan on making parts for my twinshock and modern enduro motorbikes. Best regards Paul

![]() 2312 forum posts 112 photos | Hello Paul and welcome. Is Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil anything to do with De Haviland? There are a number of bikers on here (sadly I'm now too old now, I'd probably fall off!!) Don't forget, any questions on here will almost certainly get you an answer. Brian |

3 forum posts | Thanks for the warm welcome. I dont think Honeywell have had anything to do with De Haviland. Honeywell only make sub components for aircraft, ie. engines, avionics, control valves, whereas De Haviland manufactured complete aircraft. On an interesting side issure, we do see drawings marked up "Hawker Sidley". Yes I am sure you are right that any question will return an answer. There are some very knowledgeable people on this forum.
