hi can anyone help me please iv recently picked up a 5'' guage rolling chassis that im building as a petrol model now the issues i have are with the wheel spacing..............

i have attached a pic with my measurmants and the difference i get and i have found out by the looks of it that its built to the 4 11/16 spacing wheel back to wheel back and was wondering am i going to run into many issues with the discrepancies in the wheel spacing

i have converted it all to metric as the imperial function on my vernier has stoped working.............

on the cheltenham society of model engineers it states 4.687'' i make this with the power of google 119.048mm

on wheel set 1 i have a back to back of 119.19mm so a differance of (0.140mm)

on wheel set 2 i have 119.00mm so i belive close enough

on wheel set 3 i have 119.24mm so a differance of (0.1902mm)

4 5/8 standard works out i belive to 117.47mm

and

4 11/16 works out to be 119.06 so this is by the looks of it the standard it has been built to

are the wheel differances going to cause me alot of probs

am i going to have to start the axles and wheels again or am i likley to be ok......................

any more info needed il try my best

Thanks for all the help on this one guys
