My wife applied and within a week we received a nice cheque from HMRC and I will benefit from a higher personal allowance for the rest of the tax year and for future tax years. It is an entitlement to those who are eligible so don't be shy!

101 forum posts 25 photos	I saw that on the BBC news webpage by accident. We applied and within 2 weeks we had a letter saying I had paid too much tax. I then got a refund check for £431.
