I have started putting snippets about things like content of the next issue and things that catch my imagination etc. on Twitter at:

twitter.com/ModelEngineers

This is chiefly in the hope of attracting the attention of younger recruits to the hobby, but please feel free to follow the account or use the ingenious hashtag #MEW

Neil

Could you and whoever usually does the posts co ordinate so you don't post basically the same stuff. Top two posts both say that 257 is due out and has a competition in it.

They were both me.

The one on 4th July was a teaser saying more news soon on the competition, 6th of June reveals what the competition is for.

And there was me thinking you were trying to get your Twitter post count up as well as here.

Re the ingenious hashtag, was #SuperAdeptMan already taken, or is that your personal Twitter ID? wink 2.

I don't understand this.

Click on the link at the top for info on the next issue of MEW( 257 ) and it says the next issue is 256 and that's available mid-July. I got my copy a couple of weeks ago! Maybe it's the heat frying my brain or Neil is starting a new business selling triangular stickers so we can all renumber our magazines to suit ourselves!

Neil, you also need to look at the formating of the competition page as the Brimac logo goes right across the screen under the right hand column of adverts etc

I don';t know what's happening there, the logo is being hugely stretched! I've made it much smaller.

I don't understand why the image of the mill isn't showing either.

Can't help with those ones.

I have entered the comp so if you get my entry you will know if they are getting through OK. I did not put the right answer.
