My question is; with the RH crank at IDC, should the LH crank be up, down, or doesn't it matter which? It matters if you are a rivet counter, but beware although MOST locos are as Clive describes, some are not! Southam is a diesel not a steamer, but the cranks are definitely 'the wrong way round' on the real thing. |
