630 forum posts 12 photos | Hi Mick, sounds like rural France........we have 2 family's of king Fishers on our plot.......pretty lucky..... natural wonder's everywhere........ mind, theres an awful lot of grass to cut, 3.5 hectare's.........hahaha.....clogs

![]() 562 forum posts 34 photos | My whole garden is wildlife friendly, shrubs,trees ,dark mysterious corners, the plus is a great variety of birds insects worms, flying ickeys,bees,hedgehogs,butterflies a pond with newts frogs etc, countless hours of fun watching my garden,won't win prizes but the wildlife like it, I am not a fan of front gardens that get covered in concrete etc no wonder wildlife is declining us humans drive them out of their homes Mick  |

![]() 2376 forum posts 800 photos | While England was sweltering last week we had a cabin on the isle of Mull. Wet and windy all week but we still managed to see white tailed eagles, hen barrier, short eared owls and, on four separate occasions, otters. Also had the pleasure of watching the fallow deer destroying the bird feeders. Nice to see young siskins which we only see on passage here in the south. Rod |
