Does anyone have the articles for the fire engine from Volumes 133 -134 that ET Westbury did.

i have managed to find some on the Internet and had several from my collection of Model Engineer's but do not have the complete set. I have the articles from 1908 and the Metric drawings Julius did.

I have decided it would be something different to drawing in Solidworks

Thanks

Mike

Mike.

I have copies of all the articles covering the build. Which one's are you missing? I could scan them for you.

I recently needed som 1" x 1/2 channel so I bought some 13x13 angle and welded the two halves together though it could also be silver soldered on the slightly smaller section needed for the Shand. The angle can be pre machined or the channel machined after joining to bring it to final size. Read how I did it here.

The alternative would be to mill it out of 10x20 black bar with a cutter that has had the corners slightly radiused.
