Hello everyone i am novice to model engineering! A farmer by trade but have spent my spare time restoring military landrovers. However i inherited an unfinished 5 inch gauge Maid of Kent model started by my Grandfather in 1948 which i would love to complete and see steaming , I remember as a child seeing it run on compressed air . It would be nice to meet someone on here who could give some help and advice so i could get started with this project . Regards Martin

Hi Martin

We have an active club in Yeovil, which is not too far from you. Have a look at our website www.wydmes.org.uk. There are details of running days, other events and contacts. You would be more than welcome to come for a look around and see what we do. The will be plenty of advice and expertise available to help you with your maid of Kent.

Regards

Bob
