2 forum posts | Dear All I am from London and after having spent 30 years of my life working in an office, I finally decided to take some time off to set up my workshop, I have already acquired a few lathes, milling machine, surface grinder etc. but unfortunately for me, most of the machines acquired are 3 phase so apart from the South Bend, Myford and Boxford, I have not been able to play with the other machines yet. From next week, hopefully the 3 phase issue will be sorted, I would then need some help and assistance. Regards SMIS |

2 forum posts | Hi Thanks for the welcome message. The only reason for having the workshop is to have fun so no staff. Unfortunately the 3 phase issue has not been resolved yet. I do have a Bridgeport Milling machine, an Eagle surface grinder and a Cazeneuve HBX 360. Regards SMIS

148 forum posts 6 photos | As Neil says you might consider coming on the Polly course - the next one starts on May 13th and there are still some places. If that does not suit you I suggest you look at the SMEE general meetings (on the events tab of the website). If you see anything you like come along as a guest. The meetings start at 2.30 but if you turn up earlier and make yourself known someone will show you round and make you welcome. If you like what you see please join. |
