![]() 396 forum posts 111 photos | Hi everybody, having just retired I treated myself to a mini lathe and mini mill from SPG Tools. I used to use my fathers Myford super 7 long bed to make a Tich, sadly no longer have it or room for a super 7 hence the mini tools. Im looking at building the M E Beam engine as my main project if I find the m e articles on the build. Regards

You will need to find someone with a lathe of greater centre height to do the flywheel. Neil |

![]() 396 forum posts 111 photos | Hi Neil, Thanks, I'm probably buying the castings from Reeves, mainly because I haven't seen them elsewhere, not sure about the gears though, seem rather expensive!! Thanks for the link, I guess I'll load and merge them and do a search and see what comes up. I have options for the flywheel as there is a club in Hereford. Regards Roger |

7227 forum posts 21 photos | Welcome aboard! You will learns lots on here, about all sorts of things. If it is not too far to drive, have you thought of joining the Hereford Society? They are a friendly crowd, and will be very helpful, I am sure. I am not a member and so have no axe to grind here, since I live in East Anglia. Only know them from visiting when volunteering at The WaterWorks Museum, which is next door. Howard |
