I live up near Junction 28 on the M1 and have been a model engineer for years having built a road roller, railway engine, a couple of stationary engines, a road locomotive etc. I'm currently building a traction engine in 1 1/2 scale, because I've had to scale back on equipment due to a house move and getting older!
