![]() 500 forum posts 31 photos | Whatever system is used to calibrate a Club's pressure gauge, it needs to be traceable to UK Measurement standards in order to comply with the S Fed/NAME 7/14"G regs. This would include the weights used on a deadweight tester and then having the deadweight tester approved as well. Having these calibrated at regular intervals would probably be as expensive as having a pressure gauge calibrated. Buying a calibrated pressure gauge isn't expensive - we got one from RS last year for £50. If a boiler goes bang and you can't prove traceability, the Insurance will become invalid. Hello, Mr McKay.
