Why has it now changed that you can't few the small ads anymore without posting on the forum? I'm not massively into forums as find they can take up your life. Seems a shame as can't respond to a classified.

It has been like that for a few months now, it was introduced to make it more difficult for scammers to access sellers details which it seems to have worked. Any genuine buyers should be able to string a few words together and post them on the forum.

It's a bit of a shame though but I guess if people were getting issues with spammers something needed to be done

They are forum ads, by and for the people on the forum. That's normal isn't it?

I'm pleased to say that the lady who fixes the web is well again and that the requirement for number of posts and explanatory message have been changed to make the process less onerous.

Now those who don't want to take part in the forum only have to make one post complaining about it.
