![]() 70 forum posts 26 photos | Hi, my name is Adrian, I live in Horndean, near Portsmouth. I have been into modelling since an early age, starting with gliders an rubber powered planes, boats and cars. Being tutored by men flying powered aircraft with new fangled escapement r/c gear, nothing quite like the smell of the diesels! Bought myself a Simat 101 lathe back in the 80s, which I didn't get much chance to use until about five years ago, when we moved and I got a shed! Two years ago bought myself a Arc CJ18 and last year a Clarke CMD10 mill. Have built a 'wobbler' and just finished another simple reciprocating engine, but am looking forward to starting my next project which is a retirement present from my firm, (29 years!) It is a Stuart beam engine, so will be a bit of a challenge. I am sure that I will be using this site to ask lots of questions, and hope to learn a lot from you members. Thanks in anticipation Adrian
